EJA's idea from a couple pages back that NuWho and Classic Who are hostile to each other, I think, is a projection right now. "If I'm fighting, that means something I like must be fighting, too." Or "I don't mean to be hostile, so I'll just paint my favorite show as hostile -- and victorious -- over others. That way I can be vicariously hostile and not accept responsibility for it."

I just did. Given that you're a Vice Admiral and given you've been around here longer than, say, a day, you really really really should just do what you suggested to EJA over there and get away from your computer.

To be frank, not a whole lot. I know of at least one DW forum on another board that's perfectly civil. It does appear that a few people posting on this board feel quite strongly about the show and are unable to build the requisite bridge and get over it.
