Spoilers S3 E1 Preview

Aside from the badge missing the black detailing on the sides and Picard's household computer seeming kind of, well, dumb...I'm cautiously and optimistically looking forward to this.

I am curious though why he needed the computer to analyze the badge itself as he should have known what it was and when it was from.

I guess that goes back to my point about the computer being a little dumb since it starts giving him details about the badge itself. :lol:

EDIT: Yeah, just watched again and he was clearly annoyed that it was analyzing the badge itself instead of what it was receiving.
 
Is this only the second time we’ve heard Picard say “Enterprise-D”? I remember he said it in ‘Relics’…

I always hoped a 24th/25th century show would dig out the recordings that Majel apparently recorded before her death.

With AI deepfakes etc it would be straight forward enough to recreate her voice anyway I suppose. Cost permitting.

With Discovery season 5 filming being so late, I’m guessing they pushed Picard back for less gaps later in the year.
My guess is SNW after Picard, then Discovery, Lower Decks and Prodigy
