I'll agree with Gaith, here, Batman is an overrated Zorro. Zorro is much more fun and entertaining, than today's morbidly grim Fledermausmann. The more seriously the antagony of the Bat world becomes, the more ridiculous the response of the hero 'dress up like a flying rat to fight a one man war against the darkness' becomes.
