Very sad. I think Dunn was (arguably) the most consistently amusing piece of the Jackass puzzle, and he always seemed like one of the most down-to-earth members of the team.

At the very least, Dunn and the Little Toy Car at the end of Jackass 1 is, by far, the hardest and longest I have ever laughed at any filmed entertainment in my life. For that sheer amount of joy, if nothing else, Dunn will be missed. R.I.P.

Just hours before his death, Dunn posted a photo on Twitter showing himself drinking with friends.

Always found him funny on Jackass, sad news that he's died at such a young age.

Having said that, if it turns out that he was driving while drunk, and that's why he crashed, then he's a dick, especially seeing as his life was apparently not the only one lost in the crash.

I always thought SteveO would have been the first to go from the Jackass crew and good for him for getting sober. It's sad news indeed, but he was foolish to get behind the wheel of a Porsche, which is essentially a missle at high speeds, while intoxicated. With that said R.I.P. Ryan Dunn.

While true, I don't think anybody is looking toward him as a hero either. I hope nobody is mistaking sympathy of death for approval. Someone who willingly gets into a car with someone drunk and allows them to drive isn't innocent either. Both him, the passenger and the bar where they drank at ALL had a responsability and they ALL failed at it. Both friends failed at looking after the well being of each other, while the bar failed to look after the safety of it's patrons by not taking the keys and calling a cab.

Guess we can get off of Ebert for jumping to the conclusion that he was drunk. Autopsy came back and said he had a 0.196 BAC, and was doing between 135-140 mph at the time of the accident.

Tough to feel too bad about this one, just Darwin at work. And the passenger isn't entirely innocent, pretty much rolling the dice with your life when you get into a car with someone that drunk. He lost...

Kind of an ironic twist that somebody who made a living off of doing stupid shit would die in this manner. Hard to feel sorry for him, considering he was driving drunk off his ass.
