Russian cruise ship with cannibal rats moving toward British coast

We all know how this will end...the ship will be blown up, in graphic fashion, with cameras recording it from multiple angles.

Weeks later, one rat will surface on the coastline, and the true horror will begin...

I was picturing it as an animated adventure with an elite team of military cats sent to retake the ship.

I'd watch that.

And of course the weapons fire directed at the boat will make a rat-a-tat-tat sound.

There is an old saying, "like rats leaving a sinking ship".
So, if they sink this ship, what's to say that the rats won't jump off and head for shore? Did anyone think of this?

IDK I think rats can swim. But for how far, I'm not sure.
