The story starts now, they ripped some news from the headlines of the day it aired, to be spooky, and then jumps ahead a few years, and then keeps jumping forward every episode, following one family, and how the moderning world impacts on them, until... Well, I'm watching the second episode right now, so I can't be sure that episode six is going to be about God telling Pence to nuke the ice caps, or the cockroaches rising up, but this story is going to be depressing as ###k as it heads deeper into the future.

Anyone else watching?

In the UK, the answer is no - this has bombed hard for a BBC 1 prime-time show and episode 2 was watched by 1.6 million. My wife is watching it and 'enjoying' it but I don't want to watch it - looks too depressingly realistic given the political situation.

The first 20 minutes of the pilot was insufferable.

So I quit.

I gave the series a second chance after I found out about the time jumps.

I guess Emma took her possible future as Mrs Donald Trump seriously.
