RUNOFF POLL - December Challenge: Locutus's Legacy

In an ironic reflection of the Borg's single mind, we have a tie in the December challenge votes (the second in a row, in fact!), between Dac and Klaus!

To break the tie and assimilate a winner, we now have a runoff between the two contenders, with a new vote lasting 24 hours, after which we will declare a certain winner - the moderator will abstain from voting unless there is yet another tie, and he will then cast the final vote. Now, to refresh our memories (but, you say, I thought Borg never forget anything?):

Its 2 am here now, so im off to sleep. But i'll get the January challenge up later - i've got an idea that I really dig, and can't wait to see what folks come up with.

Actually Ptrope, before I go...have you got a list of the previous challenges? I wanna make sure my idea hasnt been thrown around before. :P

EDIT: I just found a list in the "suggest an art contest" thread and my idea is pretty similar to one from 04. Is it alright if I do something thats probably gone before?

Feel free to give any challenge you wish - even one that's been done before. I'd only advise not to do one that has been done in, say, the last 8 months or so, and it doesn't sound like that's the case here. It's your challenge - and you can always spin it in a way that makes it unique, even if it seems we've done something similar.
