Runabout vs Delta Flyer

I prefer the Danube class runabout to the Delta Flyer.

The Danube seem more versatile and comfortable given it is more of a starship then a shuttle. The Delta Flyer was just an uber shuttle, she was probably more advanced then the Danube given it was designed later and had magic Borg enhancements.

I'd prefer a runabout, one equipped with extra banks of photon torpedoes.

How can there be a contest? Runabout are the mini-vans of the Federation small transport's fleet. The Delta Flyer is a unique handmade hotrod with retro-fitted Borg technology.

Delta Flyer all the way, burning warp rubber.

If the criterion is photon torpedos, remember that the Delta Flyer and Danube-class runabouts carry microtorpedos, but the Federation fighters carry full-sized torps like those launched from capital ships.

Well, if you want to be canon specific nowhere on the show does anyone say that the Danube or Delta Flyer use micro-torpedoes.

Have we seen Federation fighters use full-sized torpedoes? Just curious, I haven't seen many of them in action to begin with.

As for the term "microtorpedoes," I don't think canon has ever called them that, but on screen the Delta Flyer's and Runabout's torpedoes tend to be tiny compared to standard torpedoes anyway...

Runabout. The Delta Flyer just has a cockpit and a little bay in the back.

If I want my ride to have a pimped-out hottub, I need only install a new module, rather than tear the whole thing apart.

The runabout was presumambly designed by competent engineers.

The Voyager crew often came off as being a few sandwiches short of a picnic.

I'd definitely rather ride in a runabout. More space, less chance of blowing up because of some twit's mistake.

Props on your logic.

Any space-fairing vehicle with a large dinning room comprising most of it's aft section is cool in my book. At least they had room in the Flyer to put in a closet...

I would make a choice, but this seems like another excuse to bash VOY and I'm not interested.
