I want this to be true so bad. Although if it does come true it will probably be way too expensive like the rest of the theme parks. Still dreaming about going to Orlando to see the Harry potter themed area but after figuring what it would cost the two of us for 4 days that dream has gone right out the window.

Well Universal does not own Star Trek so it would have to be some sort of partnership between CBS and Universal. Since Universal has it own parks and a bunch of different franchise content, I am not finding this to be to credible.

The Red Sea Astrarium is open with "The Star Trek Experience" but I doubt ill have a chance to see it any time soon.

Keep in mind Paramount used to have their own parks (including King's Dominion). They sold to Cedar Point in 2006. Another result of the fine thinking and planning involved in the CBS and Paramount divorce.

Being as I am not a roller coaster person, I'd much rather see Star Trek The Experience rebuilt, restarted and updated.

Yeah, and they did have Trek themed attractions in their parks until they sold to Cedar Point.
