ROV for UXO in Seattle

OK, we had a good demo on Oahu, now comes the real deal. The DoD was spending big bucks on dive teams to clear ordnance and junk from a commercial harbor. We hope to clear it at a quarter the cost using an ROV. So much for dancing around a thesis. I got my Masters in 2010 betting on this idea. This is putting your ideas into the chum grinder and hoping for the best.

I had posted here way back in May about it. Maybe I should have a blog, but I'd really have to have something to say. There was some interest back then so I thought I'd put in an update.
Regarding the location, not to be too specific, let's just say the work is in the northwest US north of the town in the title and it happens this month. Three weeks away from the wife and kids acting as a navigator and data manager, since the guy that was supposed to do it went to the oil fields.
