... and no, this isn't the (nonexistent) Round 2 Galileo kit, this is a scratch built study model based on the original studio model. But my model at one-half studio scale is about the same size as the kit promised by Round 2.

DAW! You almost woulda got me, except I've been following you on The RPF also! I keep carrying a torch for the Round 2 kit though...

Well, if and when Round 2 decides to do this model, I'm sure it'll be a nice kit. Of course that model will have an exterior based on the large scale mockup... where as my model is a reproduction of the studio model.

And as long as I started this... here is my most recent set of progress shots...

Even though the model is far from done... this is my idea for box art for Round 2...

I had done an earlier version based more on the original box art, but thought it'd be better to highlight the improvements that Round 2's kit should include.

Now Round 2 just needs to make the kit.
