God, Ross sucks. I watching a rerun of Friends here on TV and he's all acting like he some great karate master of some principle he call "Unagi" - a sense of awareness- and acting around his friends like he's a freaking Jedi Master.



Oh this is just one example of Ross' douchiness. I can handle Monica's obsessiveness, Phoebe's flakiness, Joey's dimness, Chandler's sarcasm and Rachel's self-absolvedness, but Ross?

No, HIMYM is like Friends if it was actually good.

The only thing I ever liked the actor in was Band of Brothers. He was the most amazing dick I've ever seen. It was glorious how much of a dick he was.

I watch Friends all the time, I love the show. Someone told me they couldn't watch Friends because they didn't believe Ross could get a woman like Rachel.
My favorite character is Phoebe...I think Lisa Kudrow is great.

I could never understand in the last few seasons why any of them stayed friends with Phoebe at all. She was kooky and sweet in the first few years, but by the end she was absolutely horrible to everyone.

All the characters got Flanderized by the time the series had run its course, of course. Ross went from being the sensible 'grown up' one to just being a walking torment of vicarious embarrassment.

Watching them again its amazing how good a physcical comedian Schwimmer is.
