Rosenbaum back on SMALLVILLE for yr. 10?

Hmmm...

Discussions regarding TV shows in the "TV and Media" forum.

Yeah. I can see how that'd be the "wrong forum".

Tell me another.
Quit your whining. :rolleyes::rolleyes:

There's no need to get so defensive. As mentioned, this thread probably should be in the SF&F forum because it's a Smallville discussion, but also can have a place in this forum too.

Don't speak to me that way. You're nobody special.

Nobody was being defensive, except (apparently) you, and you weren't even being addressed.

I pointed out that the thread is NOT in the wrong forum. SMALLVILLE is a TV show and thus gets discussed here.

Now stop being rude to other board members.
Smallville has been discussed in both forums, but since it is an SF show, I've seen more Smallville threads in SFF than I have in this forum.

I think that's fine. They can just give Lex short hair or simply but Rosenbaum in a bald-cap.

Please, not a bald cap. Bald caps always look fake and ridiculous.

But it's easy to justify letting him have hair. Last time we saw Lex, he was badly deformed and crippled. Just say that whatever magical technology restores him to health also restores his hair follicles.

^Heh, then we'll have masses of people saying that the show needs to end with Clark flying and putting on glasses and Lex losing his hair again.

That's great news...hope he re-signs. He is a pretty talented and underrated actor in both dramatic and comedic roles (regardless of the stupidity of the movie) and surprised he's not being casted in bigger roles, but whatevers if it's that rough out there and there's a demand for him to come back and he'd be humble enough to do so, then that's great

I agree i think both he and jon glover were the strongest actors on the show, both Lionel and lex were awesome elements to the smallville's mythos

Great news. Michael Rosenbaum was by FAR the best actor ever associated with Smallville.

Well.. I think he tied with John Glover. Both of those men are exceptional actors.

What's interesting is that Rosenbaum loves comedy a ton and I don't think he's very good at it but the stuff he's done on Smallville is superb.

Yes! Now they must keep the revelation that Lex knows about Clark, have scenes with Tess, and Lex (Nickmaming her Mercey for not killing Clark) and just having him be a bad ass villain that he needs to be. Please! Don't have him have amnesia! Let his knowledge of Clark motivate him to be a supervillain worthy of Clark/Superman, forcing Kal-El to complete his training, and protect the universe from Luthor!

Or that he's a clone...

The Luthor in the Early 90's was a clone created by the original Lex who was dying of cancer thanks to prolonged exposure to Kryptonite via his ring. They've probably since retconned this but I think it would work in Smallville. For some reason since they've been introduced in the show now I think Checkmate has been secretly harboring Lex while he heals from his wounds. Yes Tess has been called Mercy on a couple of occasions by Oliver on the show already.

it could work...but with zod and company also being clones this season, i dunno but you could be onto something.....maybe they can work in the bit when the fortress collapsed on Lex, maybe Jor'El restored him in part of Clark's training. or maybe possibly the lex we saw wasnt actually lex but a decoy, possibly by Checkmate or Lex himself behind the scenes. whatever happens, i hope they pull it off properly.

By the way..I like the dude playing ZOD. I think he bring more of a 'menace' to the show than Lex. I actually found Lex's plot a bit silly after a while...

yeah i dont mind Callum Blue's portrayal of Zod, I mean i only really have Terrence Stamps portrayal to compare it to. Such a far departure from his run on Dead like Me as the bumbling Mason that its night and day. I'm assuming you're referring to Lex being possessed by Zod? And not just the character of Lex in general.

John Glover is the actor who portrayed Lionel Luthor and indeed I will agree with Rob that he is among the finest actors that Smallville has had. I have also been missing Jon Schneider, ever since Jonathon Kent died Clark has been "lost" for lack of a better word, his grounding has been unsure since he lost his dad and Martha moved to Washington. I'm looking forward to seeing Annette return in May.

ummm...Zod is lex? I must have missed that part..

Lex was Zod's "vessel" back in season five.
