Rosenbaum back on SMALLVILLE for yr. 10?

I was reading an article by the guy who runs kryptonsite.com, and it included this-

"The Superman Homepage [website] says the producers are 'attempting to close a deal with Michael Rosenbaum to return as Lex Luthor, wanting to sign him up for at least 9 or 10 episodes.'"

It's also mentioned that the absense of any renewal news is due to a delay in working out contracts and such, that otherwise insiders say things look very good for a 10th season, which I'd say the above quote suggests anyway.

Well, I was under the impression that it was not a matter of if we see Rosenbaum again, but when. So this is really no surprise to me. Still good to hear them actually talking about it, though.

And wrong forum, BTW. ;)

I think that's fine. They can just give Lex short hair or simply but Rosenbaum in a bald-cap.

That's what i was thinking but I remember reading something that he liked his hair and didn't want to shave it.

But Lex with short hair?! That would be like Clark Kent without his glasses!

A few years ago he said he'd only return for the series finale

http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/TheDailyPlanet/news/?a=6667

"I told the producers that I would only come back for the last episode or two if they let me wear a bald cap. I just grew my hair out."
-Michael Rosenbaum

He also revealed in the interview that the producers have already attempted to bring him back. "They have asked me to come back a few times. People think they have seen me on the show since then but I found out they have been using body doubles to pretend that it's me. I don't know how fair that is to the fans," he says.

...And wrong forum, BTW. ;)

Hmmm...

Discussions regarding TV shows in the "TV and Media" forum.

Yeah. I can see how that'd be the "wrong forum".

Tell me another.

Chris is probably referring to the fact that "Smallville" topics predominantly go to the SF&F forum, so his conclusion makes perfect sense. OTOH, the subject IS discussing Rosenbaum being on the show or not - a "real world" topic having little to do with the "fantasy" nature of the show itself. The topic is borderline enough that it overlaps either forum, so there really is no problem with it being in either place.

Bottom line: you're both right. :D

Yeah, that did occur to me. Though casting information threads have also always seemed to go there too...

But anyway, it's no big deal. If you don't care, I don't care. Now back to the topic at hand.

Well, let's see what he's up to:

Bob Erdman, an all American good guy who was content with his boring desk job, happy go lucky attitude is finding it difficult re-adjusting to the single life after his wife cheats on him with his best friend. He moves into his mild mannered lonely friends apartment right across the hall of his newly ex-wife; not to mention having family group therapy, a series of speed dates and a cougar party he'd like to soon forget. Bob's father is unwilling to watch his son endure unsuccessful date after unsuccessful date and drags him to a "Hollywood" agency where he hires a fake friend to be his Wing Man... Written by Justin L. Levine

Not good...I think he'll take the tv paycheck.

Quit your whining. :rolleyes::rolleyes:

There's no need to get so defensive. As mentioned, this thread probably should be in the SF&F forum because it's a Smallville discussion, but also can have a place in this forum too.

Don't speak to me that way. You're nobody special.

Nobody was being defensive, except (apparently) you, and you weren't even being addressed.

I pointed out that the thread is NOT in the wrong forum. SMALLVILLE is a TV show and thus gets discussed here.

Now stop being rude to other board members.

Sweet news if it happens, now can Clark Kent get the proper costume (and wear glasses) in S10 :) Whish they'd spin off into Metropolis....

I'll take Clark in the glasses even without the title change.

We can borrow from the many YouTube fan vids that use "Save Me" as the theme to faked opening credits for a METROPOLIS titled show... Splice them into our homemade SMALLVILLE recordings. :p

I heard he would like to quest star, but that he likes his hair more.

Hmmm, he needs to weigh the two sides of the issue. Hair vs. big check. I would choose the big check. What else is he going to do? Maybe he'll make Kickin' it Old School 2.
