Rose Marie - gone at 94

Wow, another great old star I didn't know was still with us. I reckon I should get out more.

Always fun on the DvD show as well as Hollywood Squares.

R.I.P.

Aw. Two of the great Dick Van Dyke ensemble gone at opposite ends of the year. She was hilarious.

My wife and I were watching some old show not too long ago, and there was Rose Marie in small part. My wife said "I don't think she has a bow in her hair!" And I said "No way!" We couldn't believe it. But then when it showed the other side of her head there was a small flower-shaped pin there where the bow normally went. Wish I could remember what show it was...

RIP.

I loved her on the Dick Van Dyke Show, I only saw her on that, and some 70’s game shows. She was such a funny lady.
RIP Rose Marie, and thanks for the laughs!

My wife and I always watch a 1/2-hour comedy show on DVD during dinner. We watch a wide variety of shows and time periods, try some we never saw before, dredge up some old ones we haven't seen in ages. But she agrees with me that every couple of years we have to put the Dick Van Dyke Show back in the rotation. It's simply the perfect comedy show, and brilliant comic actors like Rose (and Mary) were why.
