The male Andorian ambassador (barely glimpsed in ST:TMP) wore a purple pair. The third Robin (aka Tim Drake), in the "Batman" comics, also wore black jika-tabi boots.

They are cool, and their dusters, too. Romulans must be as warm natured as Vulcans, with all the duds they sport. They don't like the chill and damp of a drafty mining hulk.

I think you also see Carl Lumbly's "John Parker" wearing them in the Buckaroo Banzai closing credits. (look at about 1:45)

Aren't their boots on the drill actually Klingon boots stolen from the escape from Rura Pente? I htink their weapons are Klingon as well. I guess we'll find out in the special features on the DVD.

Wow. Some of the stuff on there looks kind of silly and way over priced. Do people seriously dress like that on a day to day basis???

Though the Romulan boots are epic...for Romulans.

well i dont know about you but i would wear this stuff! i just read that there might be an actual line of romulan inspried clothing in the works--woudl you wear that??

I think I'll hold out on commenting until I actually see the line, but I'm not hopeful.

yeah i am thinking maybe could be kinda cool- like their jackets and pants could actually be something wearable! but the boots. definitely the boots
