It's not known to the public, at least. I don't know if Margaret had a plan for how many books it would be, but if she did, it's moot now.

As for the trilogy thing, that was a very tentative suggestion that somehow slipped out in the preliminary phases; I don't think it was ever a solid plan. And I never heard any specific mention of a duology. All we know is that BtRW is the first Romulan War novel but is not intended to be the only one.

Is the entire Romulan War being covered in a single book?

No, this is just the first book. That's why it has a separate subtitle beneath the Romulan War title. How many books it will take to chronicle the war remains unknown.

Oh really? I thought it was originally planned as a trilogyand then changed into two books. It's not known now how many books it will be?

I would love to see a number of books devoted to the conflict between Earth and Romulus. Perhaps its just the fact that I love history and the Earth/Romulan conflict has been something engrained in trek history for so long, but the idea/era has such potential and mystery.

I really hope considerable time is given to this.

Since plans for the Enterprise books have changed, I still wonder how many Enterprise Romulan war novels will come out.And other books after the Romulan war are planned for in the future.

Well, there are 10 years between the beginning of the RW, and the decommissioning of the NX-01, if that element of the TATV holoprogram is true.

I'd love to see what happens with the sneaky Romulans like Valdore and what they're up to in the next book and yes JD there's alot of unexplored stories they could explore in those ten years that's a mystery waiting to be unraveled.
