Rollercoasters: Friend or Foe

I LOVE roller coasters so much. A few years ago, my friend and i went to Six Flags Magic Mountain, and just had a total blast with all the coasters there. I love the speed, the thrill, the rush of it all. Coasters FTW!

The best one there is Riddler's Revenge (where you stand up)! SO smooth.


I love rollercoasters but I can't go on ones with loops anymore. When I was about 20 I started coming dangerously close to blacking out when I went through the loops. It takes all my strength to stay conscious, my eyesight gets all black and I feel icky. But any other type of rollercoaster is fine. Sadly, my favorites were often the big steel ones that inevitably have loops.

I just can't go on them anymore though. My only exception is California Screamin' at California Adventure. I love that ride. I can only ride it once though.

I have balance issues, and just watching them makes me feel ill.

(BTW, the original name was Cliffhanger, then they changed it to "Wildcatter," which isn't a word and doesn't make any sense.

Wildcatter–noun an oil prospector.

Makes perfect sense for a ride in Texas to be named wildcatter.

That does make sense. I didn't know that.
