Roger Ebert is dead...

That was awesome! Thank you for posting it junxton!

I really miss the combative yet complimentary relationship those two had. Movie reviews were never so compelling and entertaining to me before, and I highly doubt they ever will be again.

Definitely! :techman: Never knew that there were outtakes from those two. Thanks for posting it, junxton! :)

I do as well. Other reviewers always seem to just argue for the sake of it these days. Those two made it into an art form . And managed to get along as well (most of the time, from the looks of it).

Would you respect him even a fraction more if the sacriligeous fiend traded his ''epic fail''-free minority opinion to one completely lockstep with the majority we know to be always correct? Would you respect him more if he repeatedly replied for you to shut up, added expletives, declared you a nobody or urged to shame yourself into silence? He's explained his opinion and position. This is a forum. And a memorial, to a man who thrived on debate.

Hating or liking a film isn't rocket science. Tearing something down can be equally fun, but is it justified? Are we going to be that quick to vilify the minority view? Are we really listening? Are we?
No, nor you either.
