I hope it makes its way over here on BBC America. I loved Dawn French on Vicar of Dibley, and Molina's a good actor too (never seen him in a comedy before, though).
^You know Networks all over the world do exactly the same, right? We run in to it all the sodding time, so it's not just the BBC. No doubt there will be clips and trailers online as soon as they start airing over here.
He plays a comic relief merchant in Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. He's easily the best thing about that movie.
Of course I know that ... but the BBC did it this time, and since I live in the present, I thought I'd refer to them specifically.
I was mildly annoyed that day in part because, for the first time, BBC Radio Five told me that I couldn't listen coverage of cricket, which was never blocked before. I mean ... I can assure you that in Canada, me listening to cricket while I work does not impact the non-existent market for the game.
Anyways, very much looking forward to seeing the new Dawn French show once it makes its way over here.

Yeah - Bloody Ameridca is the worst at doing this kind of thing. Trust a North American to get upset at this.

At least let us everyday viewers be as upset as everyone else, trust me I know it's not just us because there's a lot of material we can't see from other countries. We're all fans here, equally annoyed by this practice.Sorry to sound so harsh but I guess we are all just a little spoiled these days with online content and all. It wasn't that many years ago that movies were released here in Australia many times MONTHS after the US release. Since our Summer starts in December, many times the northern hemisphere blockbusters were held back until later in the year here for OUR summer. Hence me having having to wait SIX FUCKING MONTHS in 1983 for the November 17th premiere(yes that date is seared, SEARED I TELLS YA into my brain!!!)of Return of The Jedi.
Now, with the interwebs and all, a film is concurrently released. It's actually even better because the traditional release day in the US is a Friday but in Oz it's Thursday, so we often get films a day early. Factor in time differences and it's ACTUALLY Wednesday afternoon in the US when a film begins HERE.

Did any body watch it? I'm just watching it now.
I watched it. I wasn't overly impressed, but I was interested enough to series-link it. I expect there'll be some big "revelation" at some point that's hinted at as the series goes on. I found myself thinking that they were aiming for "naturalistic" acting, but didn't quite make it. I'll give it another go.
^Yeah, I thought that too. I mean started off promising enough with some of those stupid and mundane everyday things people really do, with the looking for the guarentee, but went a bit overboard with it, such as her ripping it up when they found it and the whole sticking it to them conversation. Liked it enough to watch more though.
