Robocop vs. Terminator Movie

Many of you are probably familiar with the Robocop vs. Terminator video game. But how do you think a movie based on the concept explored in the game would do? I thought about this after seeing the Robocop Reboot trailer. If Alex Murphy is actually partly responsible for the birth of Skynet and the dark future dominated by machines, is this an idea that fans of either film franchise would accept if it were depicted on the big screen?

Terminator wins because Robocop still has squishy human parts that will do him in.

Yeah, I know that's not the question but it's all I have.

^I don't know. In the comic book adaptation of the game, Murphy survives by hiding his consciousness within Skynet and avoids detection for several years while he waits for an appropriate time to emerge into the post-apocalyptic world of John Connor and the Human Resistance. Once Skynet starts mass-producing Terminators, Robocop emerges and builds a new human body for himself that resembles his previous design.

Even since the old comic book, I've always thought that would be a cool idea.

At the very least, it would be more fun than either of the Robocop or Terminator reboots are likely to be.

I played and liked the game but video game movies are never good enough. I'm not saying I wouldn't watch it but my hopes won't be that high.

Robocop is likely more durable because his armor is external. T-800 endoskeletons can take a lot of damage, but they're ultimately limited by the fact that they need to imitate humans.

I'd like to see a Alien vs Predator vs Terminator adaptation... but, you know, a good one. If it's not going to be good, they shouldn't bother.
