Anyone still play this one? What the heck has Steam done to this adding Epic Store stuff to the game?

Anyway I just got the climbing arrows and through experimenting did you know once you get those you can just skip the bit with the zipline and go right to the research base via fast travel to the supply shack?

I do need to do a replay, but noticed last time I booted up steam that there were updates for Tomb Raider, Rise and Shadow (I thought it was probably more multiplayer patches, but from what you say, it could have been epic stuff?) ;(

I've finished Tomb and Rise, but Shadow needs to be completed yet. I just fancy a replay of Rise more though at the moment.

You know what out of the reboot trilogy Rise was the most fun I had. I liked Shadow but still find Rise more fun

I was surprised to hear Epic had done that to a mostly singleplayer game. I mean, I didn't realize it even had multiplayer until that announcement, so it can't be all that popular, can it?

I liked all 3 games, but I found Shadow of the Tomb Raider to be more convoluted in terms of where to find secrets and artifacts. Even while doubling back to try to find them, the path to getting them wasn't as obvious as it was in the first two games.

There were ways around that. Lowering difficulty enabled markings to make paths a bit more obvious but if you played it on harder difficulty settings those are gone and you are left to fend for yourself. I don't like playing games on harder settings so I was happy that all three games had that option.

Oh, I didn't even realize that. Interesting. I think I played it on the regular difficulty. I think part of it is that it felt more vertical, therefore introduced more of a challenge to finding the path.

With Shadow much like the other two if you lower the setting to the easiest it introduces markings that make climbing paths or or trails a bit more obvious. For the first time ever I'm doing the trilogy on ps4 and that's a whole new ball game with no cheats / mods so you can't for instance change Lara's outfit or stuff like that, consoles are not that user friendly for modding.

Anyway I'm doing Rise on the ps4 and finding it amazingly fun this time around and even easier then it was on PC. I will try Shadow next after I'm done on the same console.

Interestingly, I played the first one on PC, and played the other two on PS4, as they were eventually offered as part of PS+, and I never had any issues changing outfits. You just had to change them at campsites.

No I meant game modding as in outfits not in the original game like Western clothes or old fashioned clothes, I had Lara in an old fashioned dress with corset top

Ohh! Ok, sorry for misunderstanding. I didn't realize you had meant modding rather than the actual outfits in-game, haha! :D Those sound interesting though.

There's videos of Lara in Rise in other items like cheerleader costumes and such, but it's mostly skimpy trash outfits
