Rise Like Lions - A Mirror Universe saga

Just that I followed the dates established in the notes where given for each story by the authors, in the previous anthologies.
 
That's the same cover that is labled as "Not Final Cover" in the S&S Digital Catalog, so the chances are good that it won't be the final cover. But then again, it said the same thing about the Children of the Storm cover, and as we know that one was the final cover.

The Children of the Storm cover is awful. I'm waiting to see what the German cover will look like since it will be redone and much nicer.

It's like they took a look at the clock and said "Oh shit! we don't have time to get a new cover done. Oh screw it, just go with what we have. Sure it's crap, but at least it's done."
 
I was quite amused when I first saw the cover of Children of the Storm. It looks as if Chakotay has had enough and ordered Paris to kill them all by flying Voyager into a star.

I quite like all the recent Voyager covers, they're simple yet attractive. But I would prefer something that reflects the contents a bit more. The fate of the USS Quirinal in Children of the Storm for instance would have made a nice dramatic cover. I rather hope all Mark Rademaker’s efforts to develop the full circle fleet pay off with a string of cover commissions for the next few books.

Cross Cult, the German ST-publisher, hasn't announced any plans for the Voyager-Relaunch so far. They said, they will translate it one day, but not in the next couple of months, since their schedule is full with Typhon Pact, DS9-Relaunch, New Frontier, the new Academy series, TOS, Enterprise and the remaining Vanguard novels. I wouldn't expect before late 2012, more likely sometime 2013.

I think the cover to Greater Than the Sum is gorgeous, if a bit generic.
