Damn it, I really enjoyed this show!
I like this kind of show period, but Jim Jefferies was one of my favorites. (And I like his stand-up a lot too.)

Apparently Mr. Jefferies is now going to focusing on producing a new sitcom where he play a fiction version of himself. Except he already did that...it was called "Legit" and it was on Netflix, and it only lasted a year.
But it seems like we reached an over-saturation of comedy news commentary shows, and now a lot of them are being axed.
The Opposition with Jordan Klepper (which was just a low-rent The Colbert Report knock-off anyway) was axed.
The Break with Michelle Wolf - axed.
The Rundown with Robin Thede was on BET and still axed. Too bad, because not only was she the first woman of color to host a late night show in the US, but it also provided a black perspective on the news that was lacking since The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore was axed.
Truth and Lliza back in '17 only lasted 6 episodes!
^Note, I haven't watched many of these shows, because of lack of TV access for a while. (Long story.) But I did get to watch Jim Jefferies most weeks, and I really looked forward to it.
I am hoping that Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj isn't canceled before I have a chance to watch it. :/
I do watch The Daily Show too, but it hasn't been the same since John Stewart left. And I do watch Full Frontal with Samantha Bee when I can...but she doesn't seem to be as funny lately as she used to be (imho).
Well, at least I still have Seth Meyers. And my daughter has digital cable and says that I can catch up with Last Week Tonight.
I used to like Bill Maher, but I am getting sick of the anti-vaxxer nonsense.
