RIP Taylor Negron

I've probably seen him on more things than I can remember, but I loved him in Nothing But Trouble. He might have been funnier than Chevy Chase in it.

R.I.P.

I think I first saw him in the Rodney Dangerfield movie Easy Money. His "I'm the Man" scene even inspired the novelty hit of the same name from Anthrax.

I'd known of Taylor Negron for many years, but have no idea where I first saw him. He was often more talented than the top billed stars.

I first saw him in "The Last Boy Scout" as Milo, who gets shredded at the end of the movie.

(I actually recall seeing that movie for Halle Berry - 90s Halle Berry *sigh* - but I had a friend who was eyeing Danielle Harris...lol)

The other movie I saw Negron in was probably "Nothing But Trouble," another crazy movie...lol.

In the early nineties, HBO had a series of short stand up specials running only about 25 minutes each. The only one remember was Taylor Negron's. I think that was my favorite piece of his. He had a lot of memorable bit parts like in Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Better Off Dead, but a lot of his larger film parts didn't really show his talent. I really wish I could find that stand up special. One joke he told:

" A woman in a mink coat is walking down the street when an activist stops her and says, 'Do you know how many animals died to make that coat?' The woman in the mink responds, 'No, do you know how many animals I had to fuck to get it?' "
