Ah dang. That's frustrating that Warner Brothers is so stubborn with their sets. I hope that they get their heads out of their collective rear ends and do so. https://www.theringer.com/tv/2018/4/17/17248358/harry-anderson-obituary-night-court-magic This is a good read about him.
As much as we love this particular show, you have to imagine how many shows and movies a studio has in it's library, and if they think remastering or repackaging will be profitable. Especially now when some studios aren't even doing blu-rays of a show's season, with them seeing the whole streaming thing as their best bet for the easy buck. Personally, I'm pissed there may not be an Orville blu-ray but only a DVD release.
Seems that Amazon has them, unless they are bootleg: https://smile.amazon.com/s/gp/searc...+court&ie=UTF8&qid=1524353718&rnid=2650303011
"When sold by Amazon.com, this product is manufactured on demand using DVD-R recordable media" which means absolutely no remastering and possibly the same quality as VHS. I bought the movie Under The Rainbow & the TV series When Things Were Rotten this way. The quality is OK, but not quite up to proper DVD level and may not play on a PC DVD drive.
While this one isn't too Harry-centric, so long as we're on the topic of the show, I thought this was one of the funniest moments in the entire series.
