Rip Grant Imahara

Grant Imahara has passed away at age 49 after a brain aneurysm. Imahara appeared in Mythbusters and Netflix's White Rabbit Project.

I loved the Mythbusters gang. I feel like I've lost a cousin or something.

I used to really enjoy Mythbusters. I think Mr. Imahara was also Sulu in Star Trek Continues, wasn't he?

I had a co-worker die from an aneurysm and it can be so sudden, unexpected and untimely that it can be hard to get a good sense of closure for the survivors. He seemed liked a good guy and I enjoyed him on the Mythbusters "B-Team".

I got to meet him a few times at Dragon Con. He was a really sweet guy in person and a truly geeky man in the best way. He enjoyed hosting the costume contests because he got to see the best costumes up close.

49 is too young.

I was very sad to hear about this, I was a huge fan of both Mythbusters and White Rabbit Project, and he was a great part of both shows. RIP
