He was a legend. Fairly active right up until his death too. He'd had to cancel shows in early April when he developed a health issue.

Damn. Such a fine musician. One of my favorite go-tos for karaoke.

Saw the recent documentary about him last year. The guy aged pretty rough, but still had that voice.

Met him after a concert back in 2010. A gracious man and wonderful musician.

I read that most of his band members stuck with him for something like 40 years. I thought that was really cool.
