Donnelly Rhodes, whose myriad TV credits included Battlestar Galactica and Soap, died on Monday at the Baillie House Hospice in Maple Ridge, B.C. after a battle with cancer, CTV reports. He was 80.

RIP. He was really funny on Soap...good dramatic actor as well.

Yep, that's the one I remember him for the most, imho. Great actor.

Anyone who watched TV in the last 30 years would recognize his face. The man was in EVERYTHING--from Bonanza to BSG.
I personally remember him from Soap, Golden Girls, The Sentinel and The X-Files.

I always wondered what the name of that show was. Disney Channel used to air it when I was very young.

Damn. He was awesome on BSG, Doc Cottle had so many great one liners. Among my favourites:

The last thing I saw him in was an episode of The Crow: Stairway to Heaven.
