I just heard the news that Dom DeLuise passed away last night, seemingly in his sleep. He was a great funny man. There won't be another one like him. Thanks for making us laugh, Dom!

RIP, Dom! Yes, he played the director at the end. I always laugh so hard at his un-PC admonition to the gay cast who are performing the ridiculous song, The French Mistake, by yelling, "Watch me faggots!" Blazing Saddles is one of my all-time fave movies. He's also great in the satirical movie about dying, The End, with Burt Reynolds. -- RR

I loved his appearances in Stargate.
