RIP Dixie Carter

RIP Dixie Carter. Designing Women's Julia Sugarbaker will love on in TV history.

I saw Dixie in a production of A Woman of No Importance in DC about ten, twelve years ago and she was phenomenal. The world has lost a truly gifted entertainer.

RIP Dixie.

Man, she looked good for 70 ; )

This is NOT the Dixie Carter that passed away. This Dixie Carter is the person that runs TNA Wrestling.

The lady that passed away was one of the four actresses who appeared in the '80's sitcom "Designing Women".

I saw this the other day in the News Headlines, and just felt so sad for her husband Hal.

I keep meaning to see his one man show about Mark Twain, but that still hasn't happened.

I sometimes forget how much time is actually passing us by.

I'll never forget her portrayal of Julia Sugarbaker, one of the strongest women ever on TV.

Ok, somebody in this thread has just gotten a one-way ticket to ignoresville.

I was lucky enough to meet Ms. Carter, and she could not have been a nicer person. Sweet, warm, a beautiful person inside and out.

Though I am sad to see her go, I am glad she will live on in our memories. And when I think of Dixie Carter, this is the scene I will always remember. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wV86kehwkc0
