RIP Chad Johnson...welcome Chad Ocho Cinco?!

I love the first comment - "He cut his Johnson off!"

wouldn't shock me if it were true. To paraphrase T.O. - "He loves him some him"

too much time on his hands because of the injury, eh?

What would be even funnier would be if he got traded to another team, and the #85 on that team refused to give him the jersey number

I heard this mentioned on ESPN a couple of weeks ago. I thought it was kind of a joke but who knows.

The only thing they said on ESPN at the time was that he was petitioning to have it changed.

There's a rumor that when Quantom of Solace plays in Cincinnati, they've dubbed the dialog so that James Bond is referred to as James Cero Cero Siete.

The Lions and Rams are the only team that have retired No. 85, so let's hope Chad gets traded to one of those teams.

What an idiot.

Also, he could at least use the correct Spanish number for 85.

His mother must be so incredibly proud... I'm waiting for the day he gets traded to another team and their 85 refuses to give the number up.

You know, there are a few posters here that I'm very disappointed about in their harsh treatment and rush to judgment of Chad Johnson.

Specifically, I'm referring to:

archeryguy uno siete cero uno
Scout Uno Cero Uno
Uno Cero Cero Uno Cero Cero Uno
the quatroth hanson bro

What an idiot.

Also, he could at least use the correct Spanish number for 85.

That's true. Unless he can't count past 9. If he can't count past 9 then he sees his number as "8 5" instead of the position correct 85.

Is he Hispanic? And if he is, couldn't he have asked a family member for the proper number?

When I heard about it I was insulted by what he had done.

Oh, and if The Smoking Gun is right, he officially changed his name to Ochocinco (no space) and not Ocho Cinco. Looky

I love how the league and Reebok concocted some reason to prevent him from wearing his new name during the game. What a tool he is.

What an idiot.

Also, he could at least use the correct Spanish number for 85.

kind of in his defense, most coaches will call out a player's number as eight -five or seven-two or whatever.

So there's a little bit of reason to his madness.

And I said all of that with a straight face.

Playing devil's advocate though...when calling a penalty, the ref will refer to the player committing the infraction as, "Number eighty-five on the offense."
