Long time Red Wings and Blackhawks enforcer Bob Probert died suddenly yesterday after experiencing chest pains. He was 45.
Love him or hate him, Probie was very good at what he did over his 17 years in the NHL. As much of a tough guy as he was on the ice, by all accounts he was one of the nicest guys off the ice.
Some of his best fights were against Tie Domi. At least he got to see the Cup raised in Chicago before he went.
