R.I.P Benny Mardones @ age 73.

Not a household name, Benny should have been a lot bigger based on the one big hit he had in 1980 (and again in 1989). He was also a songwriter for other acts.

I wasn't even sure I remembered the song until I heard the first few seconds. It's been a long time.

Exactly the same for me. "Into The Night" made me think of the Ace Frehley song right off.

A shame he didn't write more songs like this one.
