Ringship

This is fantastic work. And that's all I got to say 'bout that. :)

Researching this history of the ship (which is fairly sketchy), I find that Lincoln Enterprises once sold blueprints.

This link has scans of 1980s Lincoln Enterprises catalogs. About halfway down the page, you'll see a scan that reads:

P2183 - Blueprints, 11"x17" (3 different) ..... $2.50

Anybody ever seen them? I remember them as early as a 1970s edition of the Lincoln catalog. I now wish I'd figured out a way to come up with the $2.50 ...

(Side-note: it's rather amazing to realize inflation since the 1970s has driven the price of such work up at least tenfold. I can't imagine paying less than $25 for something like this today, even if it weren't rare.)

I took a screenshot from TOSR, swapped ships, and added a pretend episode title. Just to see how it would look... :)

Billion years at FTL should take them out of our universes light horizon from any visible point. That or a much shorter distance at NAFAL speeds.

Hmm... Well, I don't think the first part is necessarily true. 1.01c is FTL, and will only carry them 1.01 billion lightyears in a billion years, far short of the horizon. And the title isn't necessarily referring to the ringship's journey. I got the title from here: http://www.ottens.co.uk/forgottentrek/phase2_7.php :)
