Right or Left?

What hand do you write with?

Laugh all you want, but look at the facts: Barack Obama is a lefty, as were Clinton and Bush Sr, and Reagan was rumoured to be a lefty that was forced as a child to use his right hand. This revolution has been taking shape for the last few decades and we're just a few years away from implementing it, so it's time for you to pick a side.

What's more important is which side of the bed your lefty sleeps on.

I'm left handed, but have always conducted business with my wife from the starboard side.

Righty all the way. When I was young, I was so clumsy with my left hand it was virtually useless. Got better as I got older.

Good man! :bolian:

i write left handed but i do most everything else right handed.

i was ambidextrous as a kid, but this one time a teacher was filling out some paperwork or other and asked us whether we were lefties or righties and i said 'both'. teach says 'you can't be both. you've got to be one or the other.' i actually *chose* left handed and always wrote left handed forever after, but as people taught me stuff like playing cricket, hockey, tennis and so on as righties, i did it right-handed too.

if i'm messing with a toy pistol, i can hold it right handed with one hand, but i do the Weaver Stance, i HAVE to do it left handed. if i'm messing about with my cap-rifle, or dicking around like i'm holding an assault rifle or a sub-machine gun, i always do it right-handed. (right hand holding the 'trigger grip', left hand in front cupping the barrel or clenched in a fist holding the foregrip. yes, i play far too much Modern Warfare 2...)

I WISH I was ambidextrous in things other than piano. I find the idea of being able to write with both hands equally well quite appealing. My left hand is half as slow and half as neat as my right hand in writing, so... a quarter of the ability. *sigh*

Lefty here...

But with some qualifiers...

I drum left-handed (think Phil Collins without all the talent) but I play guitar like a righty.

I write, throw, eat (utencil holding) with my left hand, but I use my right hand to use the computer mouse..

I also kick right-footed... I can't kick with my left foot to save my life.
