RicK Berman on Twitter

Does anyone here follow Rick Berman on Twitter?

He seems to be a pretty mellow guy - always with a nice remark or Trek reference.

I wonder what he has been up to lately. Did he ever write that TNG behind-the-scenes book he mentioned a while back?

He actually has some cool Trek tweets. Worth a follow. I love how he casually mentions having lunch with "Quark" (yes Quark) not Shimerman.

He's definately come out of his shell since he first started posting.

Not surprising given all the shit he has had to put up with online over the last 20 years or so.

I always look out for his tweets.

He tweeted the other day that he regretted not interacting with the fans more. It's quite mellow at the moment but he's only got 5000 or so followers. Things can get out of hand quite quickly on twitter - Brent Spiner has had a few minor spats recently with a couple of needy idiots on there.

I hope people don't get petty with him in public. It really annoys me how some fans go completely over-board in their criticism of Rick Berman. He is one of the fundamental pillars of Star Trek as we know it. Maybe he didn't get absolutely everything right in the end but overall I feel he did a lot of good work and he should get more respect from Trekkies.

I agree with this wholeheartedly.

I don't do twitter myself as i have no desire to bore everybody with my daily life, and as much as i was not a fan of Enterprise i do hope people, especially Trek fans, who want to interact with him, do so in a repectful and hopefully enjoyable manner, he may have some cracking Trek stuff to tell us, and that's why we are all here, because of Trek.:)

Likewise. Fan scorn is completely overblown regarding him.

I hope so, too. Enough is enough....but somehow, I don't think it's going to be enough.

Me too!

Without Berman, pretty much no Trek post-1988 would've happened.

this was pretty cool..
