Oh no. How sad. I met Richard years ago and he was kind enough to host my wife and I during TNG filming. What a great, once in a lifetime opportunity it was.

Richard Arnold was the guy who gave a young Ronald D. Moore a tour of the TNG sets and agreed to give his spec script, "The Bonding", to the producers even though the show didn't yet have an open submission policy.

Then again, in TrekLit circles, about the nicest thing one could expect to find about Richard Arnold would be on the order of what I posted in the TrekLit Richard Arnold thread.
