It's a shame that no matter who you are, your time eventually comes to leave this Earth. It's become a rather harsh reality that all of the greats, both regular and special guests, that graced the world of Star Trek are leaving us all behind.

Not trying to sound critical or anything, but the same reality will eventually come when the entire original cast will one day be gone from our lives. It's easy to forget that time never stands still.

RIP Ricardo Montalban. We'll all miss you! Here's my big:

Ricardo Montalban had style with a capital STYLE. What incredible charm and charisma. His performance as Khan stole the show (both the first and second times). And, along with Herve Villechaize, made Fantasy Island one of the most perfectly cast shows in history.

RIP, Mr Montalban.

Well, Mr. Montalban lived a life to be proud of and it seemed as if his passing was in circumstances better than most of us can realistically hope for, so I'll just watch "Space Seed" tonight in his honor.
