I recently watched my DVD of This Island Earth, and all through it, I thought Rex WAS Rhodes, the two brothers looked so much alike. It wasn't until I looked up the movie afterwards that I realized there was two of them. They could have been twins, but apparently weren't.

Me too! I always thought it was the same guy and he'd changed his name but apparently not! He also appeared in two episodes of The Time Tunnel, one as Joshua of the Israelites!

In the other episode, "The Alamo," he was Col. William Travis. He was really excellent, with a really great voice.

He's best known for TOS fans for playing McCoy's spirited opponent Flavius in ''Bread and Circuses''. He passed away in December.

Was it Travis or Travers? Anyways he got transported into the tunnel and was shown his own death!

"Bread and Circuses" remains my all-time favorite episode of TOS, in no small part because of Rhodes Reason.
