Revolution cancelled by NBC

I have come to the conclusion that Elizabeth Mitchell always plays the same character. If she is cast in another how they will have a tough time selling it to me.

I grew to like this show. I actually liked the villainous Neville. He was an officer of the Monroe Republic. He switched sides to the Georgia Federation. He then joins the Patriots for revenge. He changes sides like he changes underwear. Too the bad the show has been cancelled now. I was waiting to see which side he joins up next. Texas or California.

I honestly don't mind Neville constantly changing sides, because IMO they managed to do it ways that make sense.

Neville never really changed sides, he was only ever on Tom Neville's side.

I'm up to episode 20 not sure how many eps left, is it 2?

It's a terible show in many ways, yet for some reason I've never been able to stop watching it, in part because I like a lot of the cast. They clearly had a basic idea (what if there was no leccy?) but beyond this hadn't given it a lot of thought. I think it's worked better as an action adventure show than as a sci-fi/conspiracy show. You always know you're going to get a gun battle or a sword fight every week.

Really they should have killed Monroe off long ago, reminds me of Sylar on Heroes. "He's a terrible monster, no hang on he's on our side, no he's a terrible monster." Neville has way more character, though he has been sidelined a lot.

Deleted the nine episodes I had yet to watch and cancelled my series link for the last few.

I have (thankfully) only three episodes of Warehouse 13 left before it finishes and then, if I can summon up the resolve to dump Defiance I will be genre show free, or at least 'in recovery'...

Me too. I intend to finish Warehouse 13 and dump Defiance if the first three episodes of season 2 suck.

I agree 100%, that was Heroes flaw as well, not permanently killing off characters!! Popular shows like The Walking Dead are not afraid to kill members of he main cast off. if you have an apocalyptic show and have main character constantly survive attacks and fights every episode it becomes to unbelievable even for a fictional show.

Yeah if you look at someone like
Shane or The Governor
in TWD, they were great characters, but they had nowhere left to go storywise.

The major networks still don't understand that people's viewing habits (and therefore revenue streams) have changed. It use to be all about syndication (where shows are frequently out of order). Now it's about DVD sales and internet streaming allowing for binging which is more conductive for serial television.

I bet they kill of Culp's character in the series finale. They've certainly set him up to be the big villain.

Wouldn't a better end be, that Culp stakes Munroe to the ground, ####s in his mouth and then sits back to watch him choke to death?
