Oh, okay. It sounded like you were talking about NCIS, so I was confused because as far as I can recall that show didn't really start retooling itself until the start of Season Three, when it started becoming more about international espionage instead of Navy/Marine Corps criminal investigations. 
So, sorry for the confusion. JAG's on my list of "will watch eventually" shows, but that list is already so big it'll probably be a while. Too bad it's not on Netflix...
