DS9 becomes a threat to every one's life thanks to an old cardassian security program. Great performances all around especially Dukat (who's always very good), Garak and all the others, but mostly those two. I recommend it.

The Maquis (both parts)

A strong little adventure with a well drawn central moral quandry, hampered by a lack of scope and budget. Still, the real beginnings of the relationship between Sisko and Dukat start here and the real divergence of DS9 from old TNG trappings.

Paradise Lost

This is the second part of a two parter. Sisko and Odo have uncovered a conspiracy led by Admiral leyton to take control of the federation through a military dictatorship. Sisko manages to get a message to DS9 asking them to get the man who caused the impromptu openings of the wormhole and Leyton who has managed to get Sisko under arrest. Orders the Lakota to destroy the defiant who's bringing that man to Earth as evidence of the conspiracy . However the captain of the Lakota heretofore complicit decides not to fire making it obvious that Leyton has lost. An interesting episode.
