Review of the 11th First Episode

At one point in the first episode he declares "Who da man?"
It's entirely possible I may be too old for this show now.
Eleven years ago, "The West Wing" had an episode where most of its cast declared "who da man?", so maybe there's another explanation. Maybe you're not that much into, you know, fun.
Or I can be an avid viewer of Doctor Who and upon reading advanced screening reviews air particular concerns?

If you got to you tube and look up Matt Smith and check out some of his older programmes he has worked on and see the clips of him on stage he looks like he is made to be the doctor.

I for one am an positive person and think that with Steven Moffat at the helm as well we are in for a good few exceptional years if the Doctor as we have never seen him.

Several new Doctors have had weak first episodes. So even if its not spectacular, I'm not going to worry too much.

To me he still sounds an awful lot like Davisons Doctor.

Yeah from what's been said, it sounds like Smith's Doc is going to evolve a bit throughout the series, so it's probably not fair to judge TOO much from the first episode.

Although I'm sure people will anyway. ;)

I never knew the companion's name was Amy Pond this go round. Is there supposed to be some relationship between her and River Song, or is there just some weird aquatically themed coincidence going on?

Yeah, fancy missing the fun in saying "who da man" like a bloody twit who should be eating fried chicken in a bus stop.

You say that like it's a bad thing

At the end of the day we don't know the context of him saying it. And it's just a couple of words. If I could put up with allons'se I can put up with that.

Hopefully Amy will give hima withering look and tell him to never ever talk like that again.

I knew I'd spelt it wrong! I failed French big time at school though ;)

And actually I never minded it too much, better than sorry, so sorry!
