Revenge, anyone watching?

I have to say, this is the one new show this season which really has been able to hold my attention. Well written, superbly acted, and far smarter than most network shows. It almost broaches into basic cable level, add in some colorful metaphors and nudity and this would easily stand on HBO. At least IMNSHO.

So, anyone else watching, what are your thoughts about the show?

The series has been picked up for a full season, as far as I know.

While it is a bit campy, it can hold my attention, especially with the lovely Miss Stowe.

laughed my ass off when I remembered the producers claiming that Revenge was a loose adaptation/modernization of The Count of Montechristo.

I can't put my finger on why, but Revenge is completely boring to me. The only specific criticisms I can articulate are that the male cast members are unrealistically pretty relative to the female cast members (the percentage of males who are that good-looking is far smaller than the percentage of females who are*; this means that the male characters on the show have better genes than their female relatives) and that the only character who seems to possess any intelligence is the lead.

*An OKTrends analysis showed that 80% of men were rated as below average in attractiveness by women. Men rated roughly 50% of women above and 50% below.

I find Revenge boring, too, so I dropped it. I usually like high proportions of attractive guys, so that can't be it. I guess either you go for the central premise or you don't.

This show is soooo much fun! I'm totally addicted. I love all the crazy antics the characters get up to, and the lengths they'll go to. It's just one of those hours of television that's just plain fun, kind of like Hawaii 5-0 and Gossip Girl used to be.

I love the show! I have seen all of the episodes so far, except for last night's, which I plan to watch as soon as I get home from work! It's just a very intriguing and dramatic show, there's not much more that needs to be said.

I like this show as well. I was a little concerned the revenge premise might have gone stale by now, but the writers continue to expand on the story well enough. We'll see how it continues to play out. I think the writing of Emily's background after she left Juvie Hall is where the story is the weakest. Otherwise, the show continues to hold my attention.

That is what caught my attention, everybody is attractive but not over the top unattainable hot.

As much as I love Divya if put her on Revenge her odd body shape would put her at the bottom of the eye candy list

For me its Divya's legs which seem to go on forever. But the major difference is that the cast, guest and extras on Royal Pains look like average people where as on Revenge everybody belongs to the pretty people caste. And taken to that part of The Hamptons those long legs no longer stand out while the rest of her less then classic Maxim girl or fashion magazine model body would stand out for the worse

Well the show continues to stay heated. Just when you think Victoria is going to lose, she pulls out a win. I think its good that Emily's foe is not going to be easy to take down.
