Retro Star Trek Shirt (1975 Donmoor Reissue)

I finally got a pre-production sample for my approval. Its awesome!!! Its my original 41 year old, little green shirt reborn for my old squidgy body. I can't wait for people to see these shirts out in the wild. They're gonna be everywhere! :)
How is the sizing? I find Anovos usually runs a size small

Fantastic! We have a new team supervising our cut and sew ops, and as a result the Retro shirts, velours, and most all of our new items from here out are true to size. I used to go up a size in everything we made. Past tense. I wear an XL in everything made for this hemisphere, and this fits perfectly. ;)

I'm looking forward to getting my velour tunic and BEYOND tunic. Good to hear about the sizing. Your mediums have fit me well in the past — well, except the '09 tunics, those were a bit tight. ;) But I've lost a few pounds since I bought it, so it fits much better. Also I now need to have my Anovos first-season wrap taken in as well!

I can't believe I missed this news--this is so awesome! I just looked on the Anovos site and couldn't find the retro shirts. Are these no longer available? I wore my Donmoor shirt until it was ragged as a kid, and I'd love to get one of these!

I had a red one I wore for my 4th grade class photo back in 1976....I intentionally neglected to mention to my mom, as I was pretty sure she'd never let me wear it if she knew it was class photo day. Turns out I was right, as 40 years later I can recall how angry she was. Still have the photo somewhere.

Found it today quite by accident when looking for something else entirely...

It is quite subdued compared to the dud you're standing next to.

I was in 4th grade then, too, btw.

I see what you mean!

He (Rob) and "Captain America" (Jeff) were the two other big Star Trek fans in my age group, and we used to hang out and play with our Mego figures after school (and play-act "Planet of the Apes" and "Six Million Dollar Man" too). Good memories.

I have to add, thinking about that Captain America shirt, it depicts two guns on it. I wonder if that would be acceptable in school today (since I remember a friend's kid in the mid 90s was sent home from the same school system for wearing a shirt that merely had the Colt firearms co. logo on it). Times change.

And yet they're pictures of minutemen with muskets...they've probably got pictures of those in their history books.
