"Resolutions"

I'm laughing to tears at your expense yes, but forgive me. I am on a sazzy video high. *pats you* let's assume since he can't shoot arrows (ref. Basics II) he can't impregnate a womb be sevens or hers. It might repair the timeline.

Fffzzt. evil Janeway would be proud.

This girl is a comedic genius at times.

I was imagining Janeway in that Taylor swift video . "blank space." Various parts of the ship, some holodeck, warning seven, "Don't say I didn't warn ya." but in the end it was seven he scooped up. She trashes his stuff and then moves onto Paris and they have lizards...the end. Think Tay-lala will like? :-)

Granted, it's been a long time since I kept up with any of the old news or rumors, but wasn't there actually supposed to be more to Resolutions than just the "angry warrior" tale?

I could just be mixing it up with several fanfics I read back in the day, but I want to say that they were actually supposed to have done a lot more than just a back rub and held hands.

HONEYBYLILLY!!!!!!

She dipped out of tumblr gardens, quick everyone the TRAPS!!
:adore:

I've been dipping my foot back into this pond every few days since Voyager's 20th birthday (:weep:), just checking in, and then I finally decided that I might as well reveal myself.

Well hello Kiddo!

Despite the years away, glad to see you still have the Janeway gene. :bolian:

Did you ever watch our Queen in Orange is the New Black? :mallory:

Actually, re: your initial question, I think you are mixing up "Resolutions" with "Hunters". In "Hunters" they actually filmed a different ending to Janeway & Chak's discussion about the Dear John letter and supposedly there was a thought to putting a kiss in there. The original scene is superior to the cut scene, but even that cut scene didn't have a kiss as filmed.

I like it! Mostly because... Taylor Swift and J/P ship at the end:)

McCoy was 150ish in the TNG pilot.

Human's either age normally/similar to how they do now, and then after they turn 100 they have new stages of old age that we have rarely (or never) seen before because people just don't become that old in the 20th/21st century... Or it's spaced out so that what appears to be middle age (the appearance of mid 40s) now is still middle age (the appearance of mid 40s) even though these persons are in their 90s.

It all depends on if the increased life expectancy is from advances in geriatric care, a greater degree of fore thought during youth, or fallout from the eugenics war.

Immortality without eternal youth is a pretty shitty deal.

Something tells me that even with eternal youth it must be boring after a while, it would just take a bit longer to get there. Ever see Zardoz and those catatonic teenage-looking multi-centenarians? That seems plausible.

Think of it as "ageing on a curve".

But humans Do not age gracefully. No curve for man. There is no godly reason that McCoy should still be alive. Having all his organs replaced 5 times and new blood every other week are not godly reasons.

No one on TNG, Voyager, or DS9 matured slowlier (slowerly?).

Vulcans age on a curve.

Sarrak looked 60, when he was over 200 years old.

But then his son looked 60 when he was only 150 years old.

Was Spock maturing faster, and in possession of a smaller life expectancy because of all that shoddy human DNA?

It looks like Spock has been old for a long time, he even sounded old in the Undiscovered Country and that was many years before TNG.

Of course she can have a baby, she was what in her late 30's at the start of VOY? Are the books set maybe 3 years after they got back? Crusher has a baby in the books in the same era and she was definitely older than Janeway.

But she SHOULD NOT have a baby. Unless she wants one in which case I guess I could hack it as long as it didn't turn into one of those super babies like Miral. PLEASE just a regular baby, no special powers or prophecies.

But really, I just want the lizard babies back.

What about the other definition of the word?

Resolutions can mean that you are making commitments to be a better person adhering to better habits for the foreseeable future.

Resolute or Resolve.

They did resolve squat, and the only thing Janeway was resolute about was keeping her ankles together.

I want to know Why Kes was acting like she was the first Officer?

After Tuvok was made Captain do you think that him and Neelix agreed to spend a couple days a month as Tuvix?

Because that's probably what was happening on Voyager while Kathryn was growing tomatoes.

I always thought Janeway dumped Chak. Why the hell couldn't they give him a first name?

I thought he didn't have a last name?

Chakotay was raised on a planet with probably less than a thousand people and possibly less than 200. We don't have numbers for sure, but "only members from a precise" tribe of native American Indians departed Earth in the 22nd century to make a home for themselves in the stars. If they were all already related, then most of the Rubber tree People already had the same small set of surnames, and then after a century of less than a thousand people intermarrying, they probably all did have the one same surname between them and just said "#### it".

mononymity
