Resistance is Futile: The T.H.U.G. Collective is TRIP-tastic!!

*hops over from the AV CONTEST thread* ;)

Allies-1.jpg

Not sure if I would call this a pretty pic... :vulcan:
But I do approve of the sexy mutant look in the first pic you posted!

He guest starred in several other shows:

NCIS: Jeopardy
Numb3rs: Toxin
Close to Home: Privilege (regrettably not available on DVD but you might be able to track it down on Hulu). BTW, Roxanne Dawson (VOY) directed this one.
The Closer: Waivers of Extradition (90 seconds of screen time)
NCIS L.A.: Empty Quiver (60 seconds of screen time)
Pretty Little Liars: The New Normal
Lincoln Heights: Persons of Interest and Home Again
Star Runners: SciFi channel movie, turns up on their schedule once in a while.
24: (2009) Day 7, 10pm-11pm
The Mentalist: Red Moon (also with John Billingsley)
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles: The Good Wound
Criminal Minds: Minimal Loss
The Protector: Help
Family Guy: Road to Rupert (Sharon Stone scene)
Without a Trace: Fade Away
Gideon's Crossing: The Way
Sliders: Prophets and Loss
Touched by an Angel: Seek and Ye Shall Find (I think this was his first role in a TV series)
ER: Opening teaser of Sharp Relief
Freaky Links: 3:13
Pensacola Wings of Gold: Trials and Tribulations

That's quite a list you got there, JiNX.
Any recommendations?

skip: The Closer: Waivers of Extradition (90 seconds of screen time)
skip: NCIS L.A.: Empty Quiver (60 seconds of screen time)
skip: Pretty Little Liars: The New Normal (maybe two minutes of screen time)
* Lincoln Heights: epsiodes Persons of Interest and Home Again (not much screen time, but at least he's in 2 eps)
* Star Runners: SciFi channel movie, turns up on their schedule once in a while. (starring role!!)
skip 24: (2009) Day 7, 10pm-11pm (about three minutes of screen time early in the episode and then never seen again; mind you, Manny Coto and Brannon Braga were producers on the show and that's all Connor got :klingon:)
* The Mentalist: Red Moon (co-guesting with John Billingsley, who was also featured in an episode of NCIS called "In The Dark"; Connor and John's NCIS episodes turn up on USA Network every five or six weeks; keep an eye on the schedule at usanetwork.com)
* Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles: The Good Wound (turns up on SciFi)
* Criminal Minds: Minimal Loss turns up on various cable channels
The Protector: Help (I didn't see this one)
* Family Guy: Road to Rupert (Sharon Stone scene) it's your call
* Without a Trace: Fade Away turns up on cable networks
* Gideon's Crossing: The Way
* Sliders: Prophets and Loss
* Touched by an Angel: Seek and Ye Shall Find (I think this was his first role in a TV series; pretty young when he did this one) this episode turns up on the Hallmark Channel
(skip) ER: Opening teaser of Sharp Relief
* Freaky Links: 3:13
* Pensacola Wings of Gold: Trials and Tribulations (it's your call; he plays a JAG defense attorney for one of the main cast members, but doesn't have much to do)

That's quite a list you got there, JiNX.

So there you go.
Also, Connor had a small role in the HBO movie "61*". No kidding, that's the name of the movie (available on DVD). Connor had auditioned (I think) for the role of Mickey Mantle, but it went to Thomas Jane. He still wanted to be in the movie so he went to Billy Crystal and was given a role as Writer #2 one of the reporters involved in deciding what to do about Roger Maris' breaking Babe Ruth's home run record. Incidentally it was broadcast in the spring just before Enterprise premiered. :)

Connor also starred in the play Far East Bob Munger. It was shown PBS in 2001. he was the best actor in that play. There was also another veteran actor who guest starred on Startrek ds9.The play takes place after ww2 and before the korean war.

Ooops. Forgot this one. Trouble is it's hard to get a copy.

I've decided to buy the Stargate Atlantis DVD box. :D
I was looking for a new scifi series to watch anyway and I did like SG-1 back in the days. Battlestar Galactica will have to wait.

That Star Runners movie sounds interesting, but it isn't available on DVD, is it?

Stargate Atlantis gets better each season IMO. I've really enjoyed it, mainly because of Rodney Mckay who I'm rather smitten with. Seeing Connor is great!!

I read somewhere that SG-A is more of a character show than SG-1, so I was sort of figuring that it was the DS9 of the SG series.

I had to google this one. Not too impressed yet, but then again I wasn't impressed with the first pictures of the ENT actors either. The way a person talks can make quite the difference to me. So I'll get back to you on this one. ;)

I have the last 2 seasons of Stargate Atlantis.I liked some of the other characters better than Rodney MCkay. He's okay but but I liked the doctor who was one of Rodney's best friends. It made seem more human.

If only one could cut out just his scenes to save one from having to sit through the entire film.

Still, for a SyFy Channel movie, it could be a LOT worse.

SyFy Channel movies are not exactly Merchant-Ivory Productions.

Still, for a SciFi Channel movie, Star Runners isn't that bad. I suggest recording it, and just fast-forwarding through parts without Connor in them.

Fast-fowarding doesn't help that much because Connor is in almost all of the scenes...

Star Runners is better thsn most of the movies they show on the syfy channel Connor and James Kyson Lee are the best actors in this movie.

^that they are.

Some pictures from zee Google. Can't have this thread dropping, now can we?

Psst. There's a certain SF &F av contest about internet memes---there's a "Not. Dead." Trip entry that I thought worthy of voting for. I wish I'd thought of it.
