Request from an Artistically Challenged Fan for Starships

Hi there, I am a big fan of Trek Art (especially starships). Unfortunately I am not very talented myself when it comes to art. I was wondering, has there ever been an art challenge centered around a revised version of the Enterprise? If so would anyone be willing to post some of the entries (or let me know where I could find some). Also does anyone know of any good sites that have fan based re-designs of the Enterprise (any version)? I remember seeing a TNG themed Constitution Refit on-line a few years ago that was awesome, but I have been unable to find one since. I’d really love to see a streamlined Constitution-refit redesign with the neck removed (ala the Ent-E). I appreciate any help anyone could provide in finding some of these ships (if they exist).

YEAH, YEAH, YEAH ...

I'll update the list after we move to vBulletin; any changes I make before then will most likely be lost. In the meantime, if you want to go through the archives, you just need to change the contest date in the URL: if the link is http://64.225.237.28/Contests/200801, that means it's the Jan. 2008 contest, and you can go to, say, March 2007 by changing "200801" to "200703" in the URL.
