Request for DS9 relaunch info! Spoilers possibly!

To all you prolific DS9 relaunch readers, a request for information please?

I believe somewhere in the DS9 Mission Gamma series there is information on the parasite spawn mother that invades Shakaar Edon?

I can't remember which novel it is introduced in or whether it has a back story as to how it came to be on Minos Korva.

Can anybody help please?

I remember Lesser Evil details how Shakaar came to be infected on Minos Korva but I don't think the MG series dealt with the parasites themselves.

If the info you're after is anywhere, I guess it would be in the first few chapters of Trill: Unjoined, when Ezri and her party actually go to Minos Korva to investigate the parasite problem and the links to the Trill.

Thanks for that, though I've just discovered from Memory Beta that by the looks of it "Unity" might be the novel I'm after here.

It's a while since I read them so it looks like I'll have to delve back in again!
